FREE 100th Anniversary Concert and Open House

The Wichita Carnegie Library has been celebrating its 100th anniversary all through September with free lunchtime concerts in Heritage Square in downtown Wichita. The celebration culminates this weekend with a FREE concert Friday after work and an open house all day Saturday.

On Friday, October 2, 2015, stop by the front steps of the Carnegie Library at 220 S. Main between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. for a free concert from Moreland and Arbuckle. You can bring lawn chairs or blankets, but please don’t bring any outside drink.

Then, on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., come back for an open house to learn about the history of the Wichita Carnegie Library and its restoration. This is a family-friendly event, and includes building tours and other events throughout the day.
