The WSU Center for Entrepreneurship is wrapping up its spring 2010 series* with a seminar on Elevating Your Social Media Savvy. The seminar is very hands-on, with each participant sitting in front of a computer and actually doing and seeing firsthand how to use social media to build business.
The instructor will be Lou Heldman, former president and publisher of The Wichita Eagle and current faculty in Media Management, the Elliott School of Communication at WSU.
The seminar is FRIDAY, May 21st, 2010, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and includes lunch. That’s going to fill up fast, so if you’re interested you probably should go register now. The cost is seriously in the “On the Cheap” range at $15 for current WSU students and only $35 for everyone else.
*If I had known about these seminars earlier, I would definitely have posted them (and attended them) throughout the spring season. I’ll definitely be on the lookout for a summer or fall business series.
