The District Marketplace has a new location for its monthly outdoor market. The Artisan Market features local art, makers and farmers, food trucks, and live music. It will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 675 S. Commerce St. in downtown Wichita on the first Saturday of the month.
The 1st Saturday Artisan Market is free to attend, but you’ll certainly want to bring a little spending money! Be sure to stop by at least two booths – Firefly Farms and Wings of the Wind Kites and Toys – because they’re my friends and both have terrific small businesses here in Wichita. This is really, really local. 🙂
For the market in August, five local musicians are scheduled to perform:
