Purchase your tickets in advance to receive a nice discount on your tickets to the Wichita Highland Games and Celtic Festival at Sedgwick County Park May 14 and 15, 2011.
Pay $8 and get one FREE child’s admission for each adult ticket purchased in advance. Tickets at the gate on the day of the event will be $10 and $3.
The festival celebrates Scottish, Irish, and Welsh culture with Celtic music, crafts, and food. A highlight of the festival will be Olympic level athletes competing in “heavy athletics” events like caber toss, stone put, and Scottish hammer. You can watch a battle re-enactment and even enter your pooch into the Scottish-Looking Dog contest.
