On September 18, 2020, Wichita’s Old Cowtown Museum will enter a whole new era. The living history museum will leap forward several decades to transform itself into a Wichita of the Roaring Twenties – complete with speakeasies, gangsters, and jazz.
This is an event for adults. You can be 18 or older to attend, but must be 21+ to drink, obviously.
Bring your friends, wear your best 1920s fashions, and enjoy a cash bar, food trucks, live music, and dancing from 7 p.m. to midnight. They’ll also have vintage cars and a 20s-style shootout.
The 1920s was the decade when car ownership went mainstream (as did telephones, radios, and moving pictures).
You’ll get to chat with costumed reenactors and learn what it was like to live during those golden, crazy years of flappers, prohibition, and prosperity.
Coming up September 18, 7pm – midnight, "The Roaring 20s," is back! Put on your best 20s clothes and join us for…
