The annual Concert in Andover Central Park is now a summer concert series!
We had a great time at the first concert on Memorial Weekend, and now we have three more concerts to look forward to. They’ll all be held in the brand spankin’ new Andover Amphitheater!

Below is information we wrote about last year’s Concert in the Park:
This will be the 5th annual concert in the park that the Andover Convention and Visitors Bureau has hosted. It’s become one of the most anticipated events of the summer, with big name entertainers and extremely low cost tickets!
The 2017 Concert in the Park is no exception! This year country mega-stars Clint Black and John Michael Montgomery will be performing live. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 5 for just $10. Kids 12 years old and younger do not need a ticket; that’s right – kids get in completely free. This will be a great family summer event for everyone!
VIP tickets will also be available (at the much higher price of $150 per pair) and include early gate entry, allowing first pick of lawn space for their chairs, dinner catered by Las Palmas, access to VIP beer sales, and prime parking. That does actually sound pretty great if you can swing the price.
The concert will be held on Saturday, June 17 in Andover Central Park.
Gates open at 6 p.m. so you can stake out your spot on the lawn and have dinner while waiting for the show to begin at 7 p.m.
In addition to the concert, food vendors will be onsite. Fireworks will follow the show!
You do want to bring your blanket or lawn chairs, but this year coolers will not be allowed (for safety reasons).
Our family likes to have a few other things on hand for outdoor concerts, like a spray bottle of water for cooling down if it’s hot, bug spray, sunscreen, something for the kids to do, and friends!
The summer concerts in the park have been, in part, a way to measure interest in building a permanent outdoor amphitheater in Central Park. Since they’ve been such a hit, that amphitheater is in the works, and is expected to be completed by the 2018 Concert in the Park. They’ll have a groundbreaking for it this year.
