This Saturday, December 4th, 2010, the Delano shopping district is making merry with a Holiday Open House, a Christmas parade, and visits with Santa.
Participating merchants will offer Open House specials and seasonal treats from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Christmas parade begins at noon by the clock tower at Douglas and Sycamore and head west on Douglas to Walnut. (If you’ve parked your car on Douglas, relax and enjoy the parade because the road will be closed until about 1 p.m. when the parade is over.)
From 1:30 to 3 p.m., kids can visit with Santa at Central Plains Novelty at 905 W. Douglas.
