The Awesome Toy Sale!!! and the 2nd Annual Christmas in July vendor fair are teaming up this weekend to give Wichita a unique local shopping opportunity.
Both sales are run by local folks who live right here in the Wichita area. The toy sale is run by a local dad and his family; the vendor fair is organized by a local crafter and will be packed with booths from area artisans and vendors. You’ll have LOTS of great stuff to choose from, including toys, kids’ arts and crafts kits, sporting goods, handmade local goods, home decor and kitchen items, and more. And of course, if you show up on Saturday morning, the farmers market will be going on right outside the door. Get all your local gifts purchased in one day and sit back and relax until December 25. 🙂
The two sales are both being held at the Sedgwick County Extension at 7001 W. 21st Street in Wichita. (At the corner of 21st and Ridge Road.) The Christmas in July Craft Show will be on Saturday only; the Awesome Toy Sale!!! will be on both Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, pictures with Santa will be available for a small fee with the proceeds being donated to the Kansas Children’s Home. Proceeds from a raffle and a special ornament tree will go to the Children’s Home as well. A quilt, made personally by event organizer Cathy Loffland, will be raffled off.
Also on Saturday, biscuits and gravy and breakfast burritos will be available to purchase, and Charlie’s Pizza Taco and other local food trucks will be on site too!
