The City of Wichita Celebrates Women’s Sports with a free event at Naftgzer Park with special guests Jackie Stiles and Jordan Larson. With the upcoming NCAA Women’s College World Series, Wichita Park & Recreation invites you to Celebration of Women’s Sports at Naftzger Park, a two-day festival featuring inspiring guest speakers, a live stream watch party of the Women’s College World Series, food trucks, vendor booths, and a softball skills clinic hosted by SpinTech Academy.
A Celebration of Women’s Sports
Featured Speakers at A Celebration of Women’s Sports:
- June 4: Former WNBA star Jackie Stiles
- June 5: Olympic gold medalist and League One Volleyball player Jordan Larson
- (Speakers begin at approximately 5:45 p.m. each night.)
- Live Streaming: Watch the Women’s College World Series starting at 7 p.m. each evening.
Women’s Sports Activities:
- Softball skills clinic by SpinTech Academy
- Vendor booths and food trucks
- Special giveaways from Athletes Unlimited, a professional softball organization
Fundraiser Raffle:
- Enter for a chance to win an autographed basketball, volleyball, or softball!
- Proceeds will support next year’s Celebration of Women’s Sports.
This event is more than a watch party it’s a movement to recognize and celebrate the achievements of women in sports, inspired by a father’s dream to set a new standard for how we support female athletes. Come celebrate with us and help us build something even bigger for the future!
