Botanica is selling a variety of plants, shrubs, annuals, perennials, vegetables and herbs at its second-annual Plant and Book Sale Friday and Saturday, April 23 and 24, 2010. Some of the plants were grown right at Botanica; all were hand-picked by them to work well in Kansas gardens. According to the website, the prices are great, and the selection of beautiful, healthy plants will be bountiful. Bring a wagon, a bag, or some other container to carry all your great purchases.
Landscaping materials and garden accessories will also be available for purchase from vendors at the sale. A big collection of used gardening books and magazines will be for sale in the Botanica lobby.
