The Downing Children’s Garden at Botanica was a pretty exciting addition when it first opened, and it remains one of my favorite areas in the gardens.
It’s so much fun and so colorful.
I can hardly believe it’s already been there for 10 years! (I still sometimes refer to it as the “new” children’s garden at Botanica.)
But it’s true! This month, Botanica is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Downing Children’s Garden with FREE admission, children’s activities, the Big Bug exhibit (say hi to my daughter, who is one of the educators working there), carousel rides for $3, and food trucks onsite with treats available to purchase. It’s going to be a fun time!
The anniversary celebration will be held on Saturday, July 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
