Art & Frame will host a casual evening of art, coffee, dessert, and fun with artist Mika Holtzinger, and everyone is invited.
The event will be held Thursday evening, July 14, 2016, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Art & Frame shop on North Maize Road.
Mika’s closing exhibit will include a hands-on art demo, dessert, and conversation. Here’s the schedule for the evening:
6 – 7 pm: Art and Dessert
7 – 8 pm: Artist Talk and Art Demo (Supplies provided)
“My hope is to make art shows more exciting and interactive for the people that attend. In my opinion, the only thing better than looking at art, is making it! In addition to the exhibit, I’ll share a simple technique which inspires the imagination. I assure you, there is NO ARTISTIC talent needed; Stick-Figure Artists are welcome! If art making isn’t your forte, come have a slice of pie and join in creative conversation. I’ll begin with short talk (mostly Q&A) about my work and then we’ll engage in some hands-on fun!”
