Carriage Factory Art Gallery, Newton, will host “Art in the Park” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, September 24, in the gallery’s courtyard park adjacent to the gallery at 128 E. Sixth Street.
Free children’s activity stations for all ages, including a scavenger hunt, will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon. The NUTS (Newton Ukulele Tunes Society) will perform from 10 a.m. to noon. Salted Creamery will offer ice cream for sale, and the gallery will have cookies and drinks for sale.
“Art in the Park” will represent some of the gallery’s member artists’ work that will range in price up to $50. There will be framed and unframed art, cards, books, sculptures, sock critters and jewelry available. The gallery also will be open for visitors to enjoy three floors of art inside. In addition to the gallery’s art for sale, Kauffman Museum will have a sales booth in the park.
