36th Annual Wreath Festival and Luncheon
A Wichita tradition, the Wreath Festival at the Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum features holiday decorations and gift items, delicious packaged fresh baked items and festive music with lunch served in the Historical Museum (the original Wichita City Hall building) fully dressed for the holidays.
During the event the Museum Gift Shop will be expanded to include a spectacular array of unique holiday items.
Lunch will be served each day from 11-1 p.m.
This annual holiday event is so popular that they’ve added an extra day to it. Saturday was added to accommodate the growing interest in this Wichita tradition. Walk-ins are welcome for lunch on Nov. 21 and 22, although reservations are recommended for groups of six or more. Lunch reservations are required for Saturday, Nov. 23.
The Wreath Festival is sponsored by the Museums friends and volunteers of WHiMS (the Wichita Historical Museum Society).
The festival itself is a free event on the 1st and 2nd floors of the museum, and the lunch is $15 per person. Your lunch ticket includes admission to all 4 floors of the museum.
All proceeds support the historical museum.
