Wichita on the Cheap

Live the Good Life for Less & Never Miss a Deal

Free Annual Skin Cancer Screening

As the weather gets warmer and we all spend more time outside, it’s a good time to remember to check our skin. After a two-year hiatus, KU School of Medicine will once again be offering its free Wichita-area Skin Cancer Screening Clinic on May 7, 2022.

The clinic is held in partnership with American Academy of Dermatology, Medical Society of Sedgwick County, and United Way of the Plains.

For 31 years, local dermatologists have screened over 10,000 patients, alerting them to cancerous or pre-cancerous lesions. This event is open to everyone, regardless of insurance.

May is skin cancer awareness month. In honor of this, local dermatologists will perform FREE skin cancer checks from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 7, 2022.

The clinic will be held at the University of Kansas School of Medicine which is located at 1010 N. Kansas.

This is a first come, first serve event so plan on getting there early!
