Crave Foodie Fair at Mark Arts: Culinary Festival

Crave is a foodie’s dream, and it’s a five-day festival right here in Wichita at Mark Arts. Local culinary experts will lead various culinary and libation workshops. The foodie fair is probably the most popular, where guests can sample food from local foodie fair vendors.

Crave Culinary Festival will be September 16 – 20, 2025.

Craft Brews & Bites: Tuesday, Sept. 16, 6-8 p.m. | $50. Sip craft brews while Dan Norton of Norton’s Brewing Company discusses how your favorite beers pair with hand-crafted bites by Social Tap. Registration includes one ticket to the Sept. 20 Foodie Fair ($25 value).
Culinary Arts Workshop: Breakfast For Dinner: Tuesday, Sept. 16, 6-8 p.m. | $65. Join Executive Chef Patrick Shibley along with his wife, Timirie, co-founders of Wichita’s beloved Doo-Dah Diner – for a fun, interactive cooking class that flips breakfast on its head. Guests will enjoy gourmet comfort food with a creative twist as the Shibleys guide them through their signature recipes, techniques, and tips. Participants will learn how to make pork belly eggs benedict on fried green tomatoes, corned beef hash, and bourbon peach stuffed french toast. Each participant will receive a ticket ($25 value) to the Sept. 20 Foodie Fair.
Cocktail Tasting: Wednesday, Sept. 17, 6-8 p.m| $85. Taste three unique cocktails presented by Fred Gorges of Keeper’s Heart Whiskey while you nosh on unique hors d’oeuvre pairings thoughtfully created by Chef Ray Clinton of Sheet’s Creek. Each participant will receive a ticket ($25 value) to the Sept. 20 Foodie Fair.
Culinary Arts Workshop: Delectable Date Night: Wednesday, Sept. 17, 6-8 p.m. | $65. Grab your significant other or bestie for this class in which each pair of students will produce an entire meal for two — appy, main course, sides and dessert. On the menu: Pesto-and-sun dried tomato stuffed chicken, creamy risotto, asparagus with balsamic vinaigrette, affogato. Registration includes one ticket to the Sept. 20 Foodie Fair ($25 value)
Farm to Table Wine Dinner: Thursday, Sept. 18, 6-8 p.m. | $110 per person. Your palate will be delighted when Whitney VinZant presents four distinct wines by VinZant Wines, paired with a four-course tasting menu curated by Chef Katharine Elder, featuring the finest seasonal ingredients by area growers. Registration includes one ticket to the Sept. 20 Foodie Fair ($25 value).
Culinary Arts Workshop: Seasonal Fall Favorites: Thursday, Sept. 18, 6-8 p.m. | $125. Join beloved local chef, Bobby Lane, to explore favorite fall recipes featuring the finest seasonal ingredients. This demonstration-based workshop features a curated four-course menu with wine pairings selected by Jamie Stratton, Wine Director at Jacob’s Liquor Exchange. Participants will learn how to make apple and acorn squash soup, roasted rainbow carrot salad, duck confit, and maple panna cotta. Each participant will receive a ticket ($25 value) to the Sept. 20 Foodie Fair.
Tabletop Art: Festive Florals: Friday, Sept. 19, 6-8 p.m. | $50. Learn techniques for selecting, preparing, and arranging florals with guidance on color, texture, and design principles. Students will go home with their own completed arrangement to display. 

Make Your Mark: Still Life Painting
Thursday, Sept. 18, 6-8 p.m. | $50
Create your own masterpiece inspired by fruit of the season. Follow along with Mark Arts instructor Gayle Bryson Clayborn as she guides you step by step to create your own piece inspired by Paul Cezanne’s “Still Life Apples and a Pear.” Registration includes one ticket to the Sept. 20 Foodie Fair ($25 value).
Espresso 101: Saturday, Sept. 20 | 9-11 a.m. | $60. Scott Steele of Espresso Source will lead an engaging workshop with a theory presentation and hands-on espresso extraction. Learn what makes espresso different from other coffees, and most importantly how to make good espresso.
Foodie Fair + Talks: Saturday, Sept. 20 | 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. | $25. Kick off the Crave Foodie Fair with Wichita’s popular food blogger, Wichita by EB. Since 2011, Wichita by EB author Eddy has sampled cuisine at more than 900 local restaurants and establishments. At the fair, participants can sample food prepared by local restaurants and food vendors and vote for the Foodie Fair Fan Favorite.
Crace for Kids: Apples & Aprons: Saturday, Sept. 20 | 1-3 p.m. | $30. Join instructor Sue Corriston for a sweet seasonal adventure. In this hands-on fall-themed workshop, kids will make, bake, and decorate caramel apple cupcakes bursting with fresh apple filling and topped with butter cream drizzled with caramel.
