The Great Plains Nature Center welcomes the community to its annual O.K. Kids (Outdoor Kansas Kids) event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 3rd at 6232 E. 29th St. North in Wichita. Highlighting our feathered friends has never been so fun! Join us at our annual Outdoor Kansas Kids event!
Families will be able to join in on crafts, bird hikes, archery, fishing, and prize drawings, along with loads of educational stations and opportunities. Sponsored by Kansas Wildscape Foundation. FREE. All ages. No registration for entry.

“With this event, our goal is to get kids outside and comfortable with various activities like archery, fishing, bird hunting, and exploration. We’ll be exploring the world of Fabulous Feathers in Kansas with our Raptors program,” says Jennifer Fedorston, AmeriCorps Naturalist with the Great Plains Nature Center.
