The City of Wichita Department of Park and Recreation has announced they have a limited number of summer camp scholarships available for 2020!
There are two types of scholarship available. One is need-based, but the other is open to anyone for one week of summer camp for FREE.
The free week is even good for multiple children in a family.
Summer camps begin June 29, so you’ll want to sign up for this as soon as possible. The scholarships are available until the funding is gone.
To receive the scholarship, call the location you would like your child(ren) to attend and ask to see if any are still available. You can fill out the paperwork online or visit one of the recreation centers.

The regular cost of one week of the Summer of Discovery camps is $115. Multi-child discounts are also available.
Camps run from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, June 29 to July 31, 2020. Visit the City’s Summer Camp page for more information.
