Superintendent of Wichita Public Schools, Alica Thompson, has been making Read Along videos since January of this year.
Dr. Thompson reads a children’s book geared toward ages 4-8. She received permission from the books’ authors and publishers.
Seven of the Read Along videos are already available on the USD 259 website.
Future Read Along videos will be released on the WPS social media accounts at 5 p.m. on these dates:
- April 16
- April 30
- May 14
