This Saturday, January 6, the new Mark Arts center will hold an open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The public is welcome to attend and take a peek inside the new center at the corner of 13th Street and Rock Road in Wichita.
The new home of what used to be the Wichita Center for the Arts will be a place for art classes, exhibits, performance arts, and more. The new name for the center is short for the Mary R. Koch Arts Center. The building is striking – if you’ve been curious to see what’s inside, the free open house on Saturday is your opportunity!
The opening exhibition, which will be on display this weekend, features artists with ties to Kansas.
