Have you been thinking about getting a new pet this holiday? If you’re ready for the responsibility, giving a pet a warm and loving home is a great idea. The Kansas Humane Society will be holding its annual Share the Love adoption event this Saturday, November 23, 2019.
It’s like an early Black Friday sale! This is something they have traditionally done the day after Thanksgiving, but this year it’s on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. (Just one extra thing to be thankful for during your holiday feast.)
The one-day event encourages the community to give homes to pets who need them. This special adoption event is sponsored this year by Subaru of Wichita.
- All black or mostly-black pets will be free
- All other pets are just $25
- As always, adult cats are Pick Your Price
- This adoption event does not include puppies or high profile pets.
It won’t be available to place a hold on pets for this special Black Friday adoption event, nor can they accommodate dog-to-dog introductions on that day, so leave your current pets at home.
If you’re adopting a dog, bring a leash and collar or come prepared to purchase one in the KHS store.
The Kansas Humane Society will be open early at 10 a.m. for this event, and it will end at 6:30 p.m.
