The Great Train Expo is making a stop in Wichita, and it looks like it will be a lot of fun for kids and model train hobbyists.
It’s a pretty good deal, too. Kids 11 and under get in for free, and there’s a $2 off coupon available for everyone else. The regular cost of admission for one day is $9, so with the coupon it’s just $7. If one day isn’t enough, there’s a two-day ticket you can purchase for just $10.
There will be hundreds of vendor tables with various sizes and scales of model train equipment for sale, along with model train layouts set up and operating for everyone in the family to enjoy. Free workshops, door prizes, and trains that kids can ride and play with are also usually available every year at the Great Train Expo.
