Rain Barrel workshop in WichitaThe Sedgwick County Extension will have a Rain Barrel Installation and Weatherization Class on October 20 at 9 a.m. Have you already installed a rain barrel? Learn how to prepare it for winter. If you’re still researching how to install a rain barrel, attend the class to learn about the double-rain barrel system. The class is free of charge and open to the public. No reservation or registration is needed. Just show up at the Demo Garden at 7001 W. 21st Street in Wichita. (That’s the corner of 21st and Ridge.)
