Yes, the whole series is $5. That’s cheap, and I almost missed it. I did, in fact, miss the first class, but there are several more sessions between now and the last class on February 15.
The Spring Garden Series classes are held Monday nights at the 4-H Hall/Sedgwick County Extension center on W. 21st Street and Ridge Road. Classes begin at 6:30 p.m.
I need these classes, people. 🙂 Growing your own vegetables is cheap in the extreme. I really shouldn’t have missed the one on soil preparation and composting.
Here is the line-up of upcoming classes:
January 18, 2010 Get Growing Vegetables
January 25, 2010 Kansas Healthy Yards & Communities-”Building a GREENER Community One Yard at a Time”
February 1, 2010 Using Ornamental Grasses in your Landscape
February 8, 2010 Growing & Using Culinary Herbs
February 15, 2010 Bring Your Yard Alive with Native Plants & Wildflowers
