Storytime Village is sponsoring its 2nd annual Cookies with Santa at McAdams Park Recreation Center.
This is a free event for the whole family. There will be lots of activities including a cookie decorating station and a hot cocoa station. There will also be live Christmas music and Christmas crafts.
Santa will be there too to do a special storytime reading. You will also have a chance to get your photo taken with Santa. So don’t forget your camera! There will also be a special Christmas tree lighting and competition featuring local fraternities and sororities. Each kid will also receive a FREE book at the event!
Your kids can also enter a coloring contest to win great prizes. If you would like to enter your child in the Storytime Village Christmas Coloring Contest, download a coloring sheet or pick one up at KPTS Channel 8 at 320 W. 21st St. Then turn it in to the front desk at KPTS Channel 8 by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12th. Coloring sheets will all be displayed and winners will be announced at the Cookies for Santa event. The Grand prize winner will receive tickets to the live performance of Charlotte’s Webb at the Wichita Center for Performing Arts and will be featured on KPTS Channel 8.
The 2nd annual Cookies with Santa event will be held at McAdams Park on Friday, December 14 at 6 p.m.
