Right now you can save $15 when you buy two tickets to Wichita’s Crown Uptown Dinner Theater’s rock musical Next to Normal. The show opens this weekend, on Friday, August 3, with performances Thursdays through Sundays until September 1, 2012.
Doors open at 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday for dinner and cocktails and at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. The menu includes gazpacho, mixed greens with citrus vinaigrette, and your choice of one of three entrees and one of four desserts.
Next to Normal is about a mother struggling with bipolar disorder and the effects the illness has on her family. Because of the heavy subject matter, it isn’t recommended for children 11 and under.
