Wesley Medical Center is celebrating its 100th birthday in October with an event at Sedgwick County Zoo. The Wichita hospital is first giving its employees, volunteers, nursing school alumni and Wesley Friends members free admission in the morning to enjoy special activities. In the afternoon, the public is invited to enjoy $1 admission to the Sedgwick County Zoo.
Wesley Medical Center opened its doors 100 years ago, in October 1912. This October will mark its 100th birthday. The hospital will be celebrating with special events throughout the year.
