This is one free Wichita activity where you get to give. Get your hands dirty by helping to keep our river nice and clean. (Actually, you’ll wear gloves, so no manicures need be harmed by this activity!)
On Saturday, May 7, 2022 join other volunteers for the Annual Arkansas River Trash Roundup and spend the morning doing some spring cleaning on our river.
You’ll be collecting debris in and along the banks of the river, so wear your grubby shoes. Gloves and trash bags will be provided, and each volunteer will get to take part in the post-cleanup cookout.
This kind of activity can be great for individuals, couples, families with tweens and teens, or fellowship groups. Working together is one of the best “bonding” experiences, and everyone will get to spend some time outside.
Volunteers at the Clean-Up will receive a water bottle and a free lunch (while supplies last). Gloves and trash bags will be provided.
You will need to show your registration confirmation when you arrive.
