Senior Thursday at Kansas Aviation Museum
On the second Thursday of every month, the Kansas Aviation Museum hosts a free event geared toward senior citizens who have an interest in aviation and/or aviation history in Wichita.
Senior Thursdays begin at 10 a.m. and last approximately an hour to an hour-and-a-half. Each month, a speaker will discuss a different topic related to Wichita and aviation.
Note: Schedule is subject to change; double-check the museum’s website or call them before you head out.
Admission to the Senior Thursday talks at the Aviation Museum is free, and coffee is provided during the lecture free of charge.
The free programming on Thursday does not include admission to the museum; however all seniors 55+ will get half-price admission to the the museum after the Senior Thursday presentation.
Regular admission to the Kansas Aviation Museum is $9.50 for adults, $8.50 for seniors age 65+, and $7.50 for children ages 4-12. They do also have a military discount (with ID).

Senior Thursday is a free monthly event for the public to come in and listen to a guest speaker discuss a topic related to Wichita and Aviation, co-hosted by Skyward Credit Union.
Senior Thursday normally takes place every 2nd Thursday of the month and is a FREE event for everyone. It begins at 10:00 AM and lasts approximately an hour to an hour and a half.
**Please note that the museum is closed on Thursdays and will not be open to tour after the lecture**
