Carrabba’s is commemorating one of their own with a new pasta dish, a discount, and a donation.
On Thursday, November 15, National Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Day, when you dine at the local Carrabba’s Italian Grill restaurant in Wichita and wear the color purple (representing pancreatic cancer awareness), you’ll receive 10% off your total check.
Supporting the fight against cancer, Carrabba’s Italian Grill restaurants nationwide are donating $1 from their newest dish, the Pasta Georgio, to cancer research through the end of the year.
The dish was created in memory of George Minutaglio Jr., their Vice President of Operations who passed away earlier this year after battling pancreatic cancer.
Pasta Georgio features penne pasta with sautéed bell peppers and Romano, tossed in roasted red pepper sauce, then topped and baked with meatballs and mozzarella.
