FREE ‘Make It’ Event in Newton on Saturdays in July

Pages Books and Coffee in Newton is helping you get geeky on Saturdays in July. Each Saturday from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., the Newton book shop is holding a free “Make It” event for all ages. Kids under 8 should be accompanied by an adult. Here’s the description:

Summer’s here and it’s time to get geeky! Come play with circuits, steam, batteries, LEDs and other fun materials. Projects include glowing cards, a tea-or-coffee-powered heat engine, and more.

Dates: Saturdays in July 2013
Time: 1:30-3 p.m.
