On Sunday, December 1, CityArts will hold a fun and free make-n-take event, along with a Gifts in the Gallery popup shop, and book signings.
That’s also the same day as the big City Tree Lighting in Wichita, so plan for a full day of fun in Old Town Square.
CityArts will be open for regular business hours that Sunday, which are from noon to 5 p.m. For the entire afternoon, you can enjoy the Gifts in the Gallery popup holiday art exhibit and shop.
There will also be demonstrations throughout CityArts, showcasing winter classes that begin in January
From 3-5 p.m., meet local author Sondra Langel (Thursday Afternoon Cooking Club) and photographer Larry Schwarm (Wichita Artists in Their Studios) and have them sign a copy of their books for you.
Also from 3-5 p.m. you can join in a fun, free Gift Tag Make-n-Take Workshop that’s for all ages.
