Bike Walk Wichita is a local non-profit organization that promotes safe active transportation in Wichita and South Central Kansas.

Saturday, June 18 – Fairmount Walk at 10 a.m. on the Redbud Trail. Meet at the parking lot of Fairmount Coffee. Checkout the Facebook event page here.
Tuesday, June 21 – Sculpture Glow / Shockers Under the Stars / “Encanto” Screening from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Ulrich Museum of Art. Sculpture Glow from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., FREE Bicycle Repair from 8 p.m .to 9 p.m., and “Encanto” screening to begin at 9 p.m.
Sunday, June 26 – Fairmount Walk at 2 p.m. to walk on the Redbud Trail in the afternoon. Meet at Fairmount Park at the corner of 15th & Gentry, checkout the Facebook Event to confirm before you head out.
2022 Walking Book Club will meet monthly for a walk and talk at the Great Plains Nature Center from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. January – May and October – December. June – September, the club meets from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. The books for each month are already listed for the whole year on their Facebook Event.
Bicycling Classes
Bike Walk Wichita also offers a variety of bicycling classes throughout the year, for everyone from beginner to advanced riders. Here is just a sample of the classes they make available:
