KMUW, the Wichita public radio station at 89.1, is holding its annual Fill Your Mug listener appreciation event this month at the Brickyard. Bring your KMUW mug Friday evening between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. and fill with with complimentary ice cream from Old Mill Tasty Shop. You’ll also be treated to cold brew coffee from Espresso To Go Go.
Live music will be provided by Pretend Friend.
No mug? No problem. You’ll be provided a disposable cup at the event, or you can make a pledge and get a KMUW mug of your very own.
The Brickyard is really a fun venue, open to the sky with trees right in the courtyard and a mural up above the bar area. It has tables and chairs, and a stage for music. If you haven’t been, you should absolutely attend an event there some time.
