Here’s a lovely way to spend an evening in Newton. The Park Place Jazz Quartet will present “Under the Paris Skies: an evening of French jazz and swing dancing” in Newton, KS on June 13, 2013. The outdoor summer concert will be held in the band shell at Newton’s Athletic Park from 7-10 p.m.
The live, French-themed jazz music will be performed by

- Joel Barkman- Guitars
- Roberto Bernardinello- Bass
- Bill Wullschleger- Drums
- Special Guests
Admission to the concert is free, but a $5 donation is suggested. Concessions will be available for purchase, so bring cash, and be sure to bring a lawn chair and blanket for seating in the park.
