FREE: Happiest Baby on the Block Classes

Via Christi offers free “Happiest Baby on the Block” classes for new and expectant parents.

This monthly, two-hour program teaches parents the five steps to calming a crying baby. Certified instructors teach the role of swaddling, side and stomach positions, shushing, swinging, and sucking for soothing your baby.

Participants receive an instructional DVD, a calming sounds CD and a swaddling blanket. To register, call Via Christi Health Connection at 316-689-5700.

2013 Happiest Baby on the Block Schedule

Classes are on Tuesdays from 7-9 p.m. and are held at the Downtown YMCA, 402 N. Market, Wichita, Kan.
