Sharing is caring!
We always have a lot of good restaurant deals and promos here at Wichita on the Cheap, and some are ongoing while others are short-lived. We want to make it even easier for you to find the deals, so here is where we’ll try to round up everything we know of!
First, some of our most popular food deals can be found on these posts:
Restaurant specials day-by-day
Endless entrees and all-you-can-eat deals
I also recommend checking out Groupon for savings at local Wichita restaurants. Depends on the day whether you find a wide selection, but they do always seem to have at least some deals! If you use my link to Groupon, I may receive a small commission for referring you.

For those many “limited time only” deals and short-term food promos, we use our calendar to keep track. Below, you’ll find an always updated list of current and upcoming food deals.

More tips for finding great food & drink deals

These days almost every national chain restaurant has an app. Find the apps or the email clubs for your favorite places to eat in Wichita and you’ll probably end up with more deals than you can even use.
Also, a lot of restaurants use social media to advertise their specials. The trick is to not follow every single restaurant, but just those you really like. Maybe even set your notifications so that you get an alert every time they post.
When you stop by a local place you really like, go ahead and sign up for their emails when you pay. Many of them will email you about special deals.
Obviously, if a place you like has a punch card, use it. They’re usually about the size of a business card, and every time you make a purchase they’ll punch it for you. When you’ve purchased a set number of times, they give you a discount or a free item. Stash them in your wallet and try to remember that you have them every time you visit.
Coupons are still a way to get discounts at local restaurants. I throw away a lot of coupon mailers, but one that I always keep is Wichita Plus (west side) or Best of Wichita (east side). These magazines are owned and operated locally and they work with a lot of local restaurants. I like to give my business to them.

One more tip for saving on family meals

Eating out just seems to be a necessity sometimes in our fast-paced lives, but just one expensive meal can wreak havoc on your carefully planned budget. If you find yourself moving money from one envelope to another on a regular basis, then you probably need more than just a restaurant deal. You need a plan!
Try to identify the days of the week that this is happening most often. Maybe a home-cooked meal is too much to ask of yourself on those days. You can do a variety of things to save money though.
Would it help to have pre-packaged foods in your pantry, like a bag of fish sticks and some frozen veggies, or maybe even frozen pizzas and TV dinners? (Aldi’s has pretty good prepared pizzas that you bake at home.)
Another idea is to check out our list of places where kids eat free and plan that on the nights when the schedule is especially full.
