Wow! Thankful for this. Something Texas Roadhouse has been doing for years (we’ve been writing about it every year since at least 2014) is giving veterans and active military a free meal to thank them for serving our country. And they’re doing it again in 2023!

I confirmed this deal with the company directly. Here’s the statement I received via email from Texas Roadhouse PR:
…Texas Roadhouse will continue its annual Veterans Day tradition of treating veterans and active U.S. military to enjoy a free meal. On Monday, November 11, every Texas Roadhouse location will distribute meal vouchers, from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. Proof of service is required and includes military or VA card, or discharge papers.
Vouchers can be redeemed through May 31, 2025, for one of 10 entrees, including a 6-ounce sirloin and two made-from-scratch sides plus a choice of any Coca-Cola product, sweet tea/iced tea or coffee.
Isn’t that great?!
Wichita has two Texas Roadhouse locations – one on West Kellogg and one on North Greenwich. Contact the one you’re planning to visit to get any particular details:

So to recap…
On Veterans Day, November 11, 2024, Texas Roadhouse will be saying thank you to active-duty, former, or retired U.S. military service members by giving out vouchers for free lunch from its special Veterans Menu. The free meal vouchers will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Veterans Day at the Wichita Texas Roadhouse locations.
I imagine more information will be written directly on the free meal voucher. Usually, the free Veterans day lunch is valid for dine-in only and does not include beer or alcohol, so I would anticipate that to be the same this year. Proof of service is required and can include Military ID cards, Veterans Affairs cards, or discharge papers.
Thank you for your service!
(Not to be confused with the scam going around Facebook where someone is pretending to be them, saying they’ll give free meals for sharing a post. Just to be clear – this deal for Veterans doesn’t require anyone to share anything. Other than your proof of service to the server, I suppose. But that’s it.)
