Last month the West Side Food Truck Rally lost its location, so the events were temporarily suspended. Well, it looks like now they’ll be back, beginning in September, at the Sedgwick County Zoo!
The plan is to hold the west side rally every second Sunday from spring to fall, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. But do be sure to double-check the schedule (link below) since this does change from time to time.
Local food trucks will gather in west Wichita for a West Side Food Truck Rally.
They’ll have music from DJ Carbon, bounce houses, and lots of food trucks. The lineup may change from month to month, but so far the trucks they know are coming include:
Inspirit Kombucha Brewing Co.
Xclusive Booze Truck
Hot-2-Trot Gourmet Hotdogs
Noble House Hawaiian Plate Lunch Food Truck
Against the Grain LLC Wichita KS
Wheat Street Dogs
Brown Box Bakery
B.S. Sandwich Press
Sunflower Espresso Wichita
Twisted Hog BBQ
The Royal Food Truck
It should be an awesome time! Since this is an outdoor event, be sure to check the Facebook page (link below) for any weather-related changes or cancellations!
Date: Second Sunday of most months
Time: noon to 3 p.m.
Location: Sedgwick County Zoo
Cost: Free to attend; bring money for food trucks

Hello Carolyn. Thank you for all you do. I’ve actually attended functions that I first saw here on your site. Do you know of any site announcing Estate Sales? Maybe, you may want to incorporate that on here….just a suggestion. Anyway, thank you.
Hi Patricia. Thank you for your kind words! We do have a page for citywide garage sales that includes neighborhood sales and things like church rummage sales, but there seem to be so many estate sales it’s hard to keep track of. The companies that do estate sales seem to advertise on Craigslist though. That might be the best place to search for individual sales. (I would love to include them here, but it’s far too much work to keep everything updated; I think it would become a full-time job just tracking those sales. 🙂 )
