The Wichita Swing Dance Society hosts a swing dance every Sunday night at the Lux Ballroom in Downtown Wichita. This is an inexpensive way to try a new hobby or learn a new dance. Its $10 for the lesson and the dance. They accept cash or Venmo.

The drop-in Swingin’ Sundays dances are open to anyone, whether you’re a member or not, and whatever your skill level. You don’t need to bring a partner, but of course you could! (This might be a good date night idea.)

They offer TWO lessons every Sunday. Bonus: You don’t need a partner or any experience to attend either lesson!
After the lessons, stick around for a DJed social dance. This provides an opportunity to dance with people you met in class and socialize a little, too.
They recommend bringing a water bottle and dressing comfortably.
