Sedgwick County Zoo: free admission for first responders July 18

The Sedgwick County Zoo will offer FREE admission to all law enforcement, fire, EMS, and 911 operators. They are running this special for first responders day on July 18th, 2023.

More about the FREE day for First Responders:

  • Tuesday, July 18th, from 9 am – 8 pm
  • A first responder and up to four guests will get in for FREE.
  • You must show a valid IC at the ticket window. 

About Sedgwick County Zoo: 

  • The Sedgwick County Zoo is home to 3,000 individual animals of nearly 400 species.
  • Sedgwick County Zoo ranked 7th among U.S. zoos on TripAdvisor in 2012. 
  • They say it takes about 3 hours to walk entirely around the Zoo.
  • The zoo opened in 1971. 
  • It has around 224 acres. 
  • The Zoo offers educational programs for all ages, sponsors special events for the public, accommodates
    after-hour rentals for corporate events and provides volunteer opportunities for more than 775 individuals.
  • In 2019 the Zoo had 518,446 visitors.
