This year’s GreenWichita Energy and Sustainability Fair will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Drury Broadview and Century II in downtown Wichita. The fair is free and open to the public.
Saturday’s activities will include fuel-efficient/hybrid car shows, home energy savings workshops, presentations for cyclists, urban farming and community gardening discussions (interesting!), prize drawings, and more.
There will also be some free activities on Wednesday many will want to take advantage of. Tours of the historic Orpheum Theater will be held in the afternoon (click for schedule), and there will be free screenings of The Greenest Building, a documentary about building preservation, and Blue Vinyl, about exterior siding materials and the negative health effects of PVC, in the Mary Jane Teall theater at Century II
