The Kansas Girl Scouts are having a free summer camp open house. The whole family is invited to tour Camp Starwoods in Clearwater, Kansas on Saturday afternoon, May 20, and learn about all of the fun camps happening this summer.
This year they’ll be celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Chisholm Trail. See what this 160-acre property on the Chisholm Trail has to offer, and walk along the historic parts of the trail. Collect your camp passport, get insider details about upcoming camps, and see the Adventure Course that includes a 55-foot climbing tower and zip line across the lake.
Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland camps are open to ALL K-12 girls. Bring your family to the open house, wear comfortable shoes, and get excited about the adventures awaiting you this summer!
To see what camps are planned, and to register for upcoming summer camps, go to kansasgirlscouts.org and click on “Events.” Camp scholarships are available too.
At the Camp Starwoods Open House, you can complete early check-in on any camps you’ve registered for so you don’t have to do it on the first day of camp.
This is a FREE event and open to the public, so bring your BFF and have a fun day. Camp Starwoods is just 10 minutes southwest of Wichita.
