Registration begins Wednesday for a free Valentine’s Day craft activity for kids ages 9-12 at the Wichita Public Library. The event will be held Monday evening, February 11, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at the Central Branch library in downtown Wichita. It’s free, but registration is required. Register by calling the library at 261-8512.
Wet Felting with Soap
Make something spiffy for your Valentine! We’ll show children aged 9-12 how to transform plain wool into something fantastic! Create fiber art using hot water and dish soap. Make beads, flat “paintings,” and even make an all-in-one washcloth.
