Craving a taste of fall without the inevitable pumpkin spice-flavored sugar crash? Say no more!
Wendy’s is introducing its first-ever fall salad, as part of the chain’s leafy lineup — the Harvest Chicken Salad.
The seasonally-inspired flavors will satisfy any fall cravings from your palate. And the best part? Wendy’s is kicking off the official start of fall with a mobile offer for a FREE half-size Harvest Chicken Salad with any purchase.
Download the Wendy’s app to bite into the deal, which runs from Sept. 22 to Oct. 7.
Built on a blended bed of romaine, crisp iceberg and spring mix lettuce, the Harvest Chicken Salad touts brown sugar walnuts, green and red apples, feta cheese, Applewood-smoked bacon and a savory apple cider vinaigrette — topped with a freshly grilled, all-white meat chicken breast.
For calorie counters, a full-size, fully dressed salad – which includes all toppings and two packets of dressing – is only 570 calories. The half-size entrée is 320 calories and includes all toppings and one packet of dressing. (But how many calories are the fries that I’m inevitably going to order with it?)
At most locations, the full-size Harvest Chicken Salad is available for $6.79 and a half-size for $4.79.
This sounds like a pretty healthy-ish lunch or dinner if you’re on the run. Especially when it’s FREE.
