See what life was like for our grandparents and great-grandparents who grew up during the Depression and World War II. As part of the exhibit, Our Lives, Our Stories – America’s Greatest Generation, which follows the stories and experiences of Americans during the Depression and World War II, the Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum will hold a free Family Day reception.
On Saturday, February 4, from 1-5 p.m., families are invited to attend a special exhibit opening and reception from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the museum. The free Family Day reception will feature depression-era games & toys, wartime recipes, refreshments, and more.
