Wichita’s annual Veteran’s Day parade is scheduled for November 5, 2022. It’s one of the events in Wichita our family hardly ever misses. Veterans day is on November 11th so make sure not to miss the parade that’s on the 5th.
We’re also gathering information about numerous Veterans Day freebies and discounts in the Wichita area.
The theme for this year’s parade is “Honoring Women Veterans”. The parade will begin at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 5th, in downtown Wichita. The parade route begins at Main & Central and goes south on Main to Douglas. New this year the route will be ending at WaterWalk instead of Riverfront Stadium.

Following the parade there will be a celebration and the chance to meet the parade participants; view vehicles and other displays; listen to patriotic music and hear comments from our local and state elected officials. There will also food concessions available for a pleasant lunch. We are inviting the car clubs in the area to be in the parade and to do a “Show and Shine” car show in the area next to Riverfront Stadium following the parade. For car club entries please indicate accordingly on the Google Form so we can allocate sufficient parking.
The parade route begins at Main & Central and goes south on Main to Waterman. The parade will turn west at Waterman and end at WaterWalk.
The Veterans Day parade is organized by Wichita JROTC groups and sponsored by local businesses.
