Wichita’s Old Town Farm and Art Market reopens for the 2022 season on Saturday, April 2! The market opens as early at 8 a.m. for fresh food and other shopping. Enjoy live music from 10 a.m. to noon-ish.
(The Kansas Grown Farmers Market at 21st and Ridge also opens this weekend.)
The Old Town Farmers Market has been a staple of the weekend scene in Wichita since 1991. (It’s been on our list of the Top Free Things to Do in Wichita right from the start.)
The Old Town Farmers Market is known for many local food, arts, and handmade vendors as well as live performers (busking is encouraged), activities for kids, and generally being an entertaining way to spend your Saturday morning.
The market has ample room for its vendors to spread out. Last year it stretched from its traditional location in the Farm & Art Plaza all the way down Rock Island to 2nd Street.
Market hours are from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
You can use the Meet the Market page ahead of time to see which of your favorite vendors will be there and check out the map to see where their booths will be located.
