This annual event brings a great mash-up of fun antics, live music, art, and an electric vibe to the summer night.
Join us in welcoming Kansas-City artist-Asheer Akram, the creative mastermind behind the Pakistani Cargo Truck Initiative (www.pctinitiative.com).
Akram will bring his 1952 Chevrolet grain truck, featured in a 2013 outdoor display at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. The truck has been re-crafted as a traditional Pakistani-style cargo vehicle with a Midwest twist and a new function.
This event will also feature live music, an artist talk by Akram, and a celebration of diversity and cultural awareness. General admission is $5 in advance or $10 at the door. Tickets available online at wichitaartmuseum.org/events.
