Discounted carnival tickets for Kansas State Fair

Heading out to the Kansas State Fair in 2022 and want a discount? Well this will be good news: you can get discounted carnival ride wristbands until August 31 or discounted ride ticket sheets before the fair begins!

Ride sheets and wristbands are the most cost effective way to ride lots of carnival rides. Dillon’s One-Ticket Ride Day is another option that can save you lots of money on rides at the Kansas State Fair.

How much are Kansas State Fair carnival ride tickets?

If you purchase Midway Ride Sheets before the start of the Kansas State Fair, you’ll pay only $20 per sheet of 20. After the fair begins, ride ticket sheets are $25.

Most carnival rides at the Kansas State Fair take 3-4 tickets each, so a sheet of 20 ride tickets will get you about five or six fair rides.

When is One-Ticket Ride Day?

During the Dillon’s One-Ticket Ride Day, on Monday during the Kansas State Fair, all rides only cost one ticket! If you purchase them singly on that day, each ride ticket will cost $2, so buying the Midway Ride Sheet in advance definitely gives you the biggest savings if you want a lot of rides.

When are the Kansas State Fair wristband events?

There are six wristband events during the 2022 Kansas State Fair. These are times when you can have unlimited carnival rides with your wristband.

Tuesday, September 13th

Wednesday, September 14th

Thursday, September 15th

Friday, September 16th

Sunday, September 18th

To give you an idea of how much money this will save you, most of the “big kid” rides take 3-4 tickets each. A sheet of 20 tickets cost $25 during the fair, so you could get about five or six rides from one sheet of carnival ride tickets.

If you buy a wristband, you get unlimited rides during the wristband events (listed above).

How much are Kansas State Fair wristbands?

If you buy your wristband voucher by July 31, 2022, you’ll get it for just $30. If you buy a carnival ride wristband August 1 or later, you’ll pay $35.

Either way saves you money on rides at the Kansas State Fair, but purchasing before July 31 saves you the most!
